American Grant Writers' Association was established in 2002.  AGWA members are Grant Consultants,  employees of State or Local Government Agencies, or employees of Non-Profit Organizations throughout the United States.  Members adhere to AGWA's Professional Standards and Code of Ethics.  AGWA offers the Certified Grant Writer® Credential to those members who have demonstrated proficiency in grant researching and writing.  AGWA also hosts an Annual Conference where members can improve skills, learn new trends, and network.
