Welcome to American Grant Writers' Association
American Grant Writers' Association was established in 2002 and is celebrating its 10th Anniversary Year. Our members work as Grant Consultants or employees of State or Local Government Agencies, institutions of Higher Education, Native Tribes, and Non-Profit Organizations throughout the United States. All of our members are required to abide by AGWA's Professional Standards and Code of Ethics. We offer online courses and workshops on grant researching, proposal writing, grant consulting, and grant management. We award the Certified Grant Writer® Credential to members who demonstrate proficiency in grant researching and proposal writing by taking a 6 hour examination. Our organization hosts an Annual Grant Conference where members and guests can improve their skills, learn new trends, and network with professionals in the industry.
