AGWA National Grant Conference - July 28, 29, & 30, 2021.
We are hopeful that a Covid-19 vaccine will be approve by the end of 2020 and will be widely available in early 2021. Therefore, AGWA is planning on hosting the national grant conference, in-person, as we have had in years past.
The 2021 conference will be at the Avanti Palms Resort on I-drive in Orlando FL.
This location is with a few miles of several major theme parks, the I-drive Eye Ferris wheel, and other family attractions. Come for the conference and stay a couple of days with your family for a mini vacation.
Call for Speakers. AGWA is currently accepting speaker proposals.
We are seeking high quality, cutting-edge content, with an emphasis on practical methodologies, techniques, technologies, advice, and insights that attendees can put into practice immediately.
Real-world examples and engaging, interactive session activities are a perfect fit!
Point of Emphasis: Reseller Market
Some, especially for-profit retail businesses, will be ineligible to receive most grant funding. One possible alternative for the grant consultant to work with some retailers is through the reseller market. In this approach clients (buyers; 501c3s) are often eligible to receive grant funding. The pitch from the reseller (such as a Tech company) might be – “if you like our product, but the cost is a little high, would you buy from my company if we could get some grant money to offset the cost?” The 501c3 becomes the eligible applicant and the Tech company becomes the provider, whose equipment and/or services will be paid for through the grant fund.
